Recycling at Hope

Hope has gone green!

Hope UMC is a recycling congregation.

We collect #1 and #2 plastic, tin(steel), cardboard and paper in order to reduce waste costs and landfill usage.

"The Earth is the Lord's and all that is in it!" Psalm 24:1

In order to help with this program, please remember the following:

Water bottles and other plastic #1 & #2 must have lids removed.

Boxes must be broken down and this saves space in the totes

We are not accepting recyclables from home at this time. We have limited space in the totes.

The men of Hope are also collecting aluminum cans to sell for their projects. Cans should be dropped off in plastic bags or boxes at the shed, or individual cans can be placed in can recycling bins in the church kitchen.  Please remove the can tabs and place them in the collection bucket in the kitchen for our Girls Scouts to donate to Ronald McDonald House.
